HR and Administration Specialist
1. Background Our Client is the overseas branch office of the Japan Headquarters which supports the Regional CEO for Europe, CIS Middle East and Africa (EMEA) where around 50 offices are operating. This company comprises the management functions, such as HR and Administration, Global Strategy, Legal, Accounting, Internal Audit and representatives from each business group. We are looking for a Regional HR Officer to assist with the implementation and maintenance of various Human Resources Development (HRD) measures in the EMEA region.
2. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of various HRD measures in the EMEA region as per the examples below
- Implement and maintain internal training programs for internationally and locally hired staff
- Ensure post-training administration procedures are followed
- Coordinate review of remuneration and HR systems
- Implement surveys, such as, the employee awareness survey
- Provide administrative support for global talent management/succession planning
- Assist with project work relating to the development and evaluation of learning and development activities
- First point of contact to assist with and respond to enquiries relating to such measures in the EMEA region
- Communicate with HR staff in the EMEA region and other regions including Japan Headquarters and translate documentation from Japanese to English when necessary
- Arrange EMEA HR Taskforce meetings
- Assist with the preparation of documentation and presentations about HR issues to management
3. Qualifications and Skills Required Essential
- Advanced organisational, time management and administration skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese
- Proactive attitude
- HR related work experience
- Knowledge of HR systems and employment law
4. Hours of Work Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm
5. Salary and Benefits
- Salary: 27,000 - 30,000 GBP(depending on experience)
- City Allowance: 4,500 GBP
