Your responsibilities
In the "AeroSpace & Industrial Applications" division, we develop aerospacecomponents.
These are used to guide an aircraft or for self-protection or reconnaissance.
The basis for this is electro-optical sensors and radars. The current object of development is
in the area of multispectral optics and precision mechanics.
▪ Development of digital hardware and associated software (C and C++) for optronic systems in aerospace applications.
▪ Design and implementation of image processing algorithms for image enhancement
▪ Improvement and extension of existing algorithms as well as the development of new algorithms in the fields of
▪ Image processing, control engineering and signal processing in camera systems
▪ Validation and evaluation of algorithms with regard to their performance
▪ Execution of unit tests and component tests
▪ Coordination of integration, verification and validation
▪ Accompanying the software development until it is ready for use
▪ Involvement of subcontractors
▪ Support for approval documentation according to RTCA DO-178C, DO-254
▪ Very good English skills (knowledge of German is a plus)
Employer requirements
▪ Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, aerospace engineering or similar
▪ Experience in the development of hardware and software in accordance with DO-178 and DO-254 respectively
▪ Experience in verification and validation
▪ Experience in dealing with certification authorities (e.g. EASA, LufABw) advantageous
▪ Very good knowledge of programming (at least C++14, knowledge of Phyton and Matlab / Simulink advantageous)
